From our workshop on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, we draw daily inspiration from the wild, rugged beauty of the Devon landscape. This connection to nature guides everything we do — from the materials we choose to the methods we honour. We work exclusively with the finest sustainable natural materials: solid hardwood frames, hand-lashed coil springs, hand-teased horsehair, natural coir, wool and breathable fibres that allow each piece to live and age beautifully.

Every sofa is meticulously crafted by our highly skilled small team of upholsterers, tucked away in our workshop on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Each piece is carefully built from start to finish by the same hands, with time, patience and genuine care devoted to every detail.​

We do not follow fast-moving trends. We take a slower, more considered approach — focusing on enduring design, honest materials and uncompromising durability. Our sofas are built to be lived in, repaired, reupholstered and ultimately handed down through generations.

Traditionally built with hand lashed coil springs and layers of hand teased coconut fibre and hair finished with hand sewn rolled edges. Topped with luxurious deep filled feather and down seat and back cushions.
TOTLAND
Meticulously hand crafted with layers of coconut fibre and hair, ensuring durability and support. The hand-sewn rolled edges and hand-lashed coil sprung seat provide a luxurious foundation, while the feather and down seat cushions invite you to sink in and relax.
BENBRIDGE
A contemporary interpretation on the classic Chippendale design. Sustainably crafted, it features hand lashed coil springs and is topped with a sumptuous feather and down cushion for ultimate comfort. Optional close nailing detail adds to it's sophistication, the perfect blend of tradition and sustainable living.
LODDISWELL
