Built upon a solid beech frame using time-honoured upholstery techniques, the Downderry is crafted for lasting comfort, integrity, and longevity. Traditionally hand sprung and upholstered using layers of hand-teased hair and coconut fibre. Made slowly and meticulously by our small team of skilled craftspeople using sustainable materials chosen for their resilience and beauty over time. Thoughtfully detailed with hand-finished edges, integrated tapered beech legs, and our signature hand-cast brass castors, the Downderry is designed to be lived with, cherished, and passed down for generations.

Available with or without a traditional tailored skirt and handmade to order in your chosen size and fabric.
