The seat has been fully restored traditionally with hand-lashed coil springs and layers of hair and coir for durability and comfort. It stands on turned front legs, with a maker’s stamp to the rear leg — a mark of quality craftsmanship. An elegant and sturdy piece, ready for everyday use while retaining its 19th century charm.
