This exceptional Cornelius V. Smith Victorian sofa has been fully restored from the frame up, using traditional methods and natural materials. 

The seat and back feature hand-lashed coil springs, built up with layers of hand-teased horsehair and coconut fibre, and finished with hand-sewn rolled edges for long-term durability. These techniques provide a stable and comfortable structure designed to last. Makers stamp to rear leg.

The back and arms will be finished with a layer of hair and wool ready top cover fabric.
