An impressive 19th Century Cornelius V Smith deep seated armchair. Traditionally restored from the frame up using time honoured upholstery techniques and natural materials. With a hand lashed coil sprung seat and back, layers of hand teased hair and coir and meticulously hand stitched rolled edges for optimum durability. An elegant and sturdy piece, ready for everyday use while retaining its 19th Century charm. CVS stamp to rear leg.
